Biography:
Filmski, pozorisni i TV-glumac, rodio se u Crnomelju, 18.8.1942. Studirao je na Akademiji za gledalisce, radio, film in televizijo u Ljubljani. Bio je angazovan u vodecim slovenackim pozoristima, a nastupa i u neformalnim grupama sirom Jugoslavije. Glumac intenzivnog prisustva na sceni, podjednako sugestivno glumi i u savremenom, avangardnom slovenackom repertoaru. Dvostruki je dobitnik Presernove nagrade. Na filmu od 1969. tumaci karakterne uloge najsireg raspona - i negativne i pozitivne. Njegovo najbolje filmsko ostvarenje je uloga u filmu Idealist (1976) I. Pretnara, prema Martinu Kacuru I. Cankara. Za nju je nagradjen Zlatnom arenom u Puli, Carem Konstantinom u Nisu, te na festivalu u Moskvi 1977. Cesto glumi i na televiziji.
