	Holy Mary Director: Neven Hitrec Short description: Film "Holy Mary" is a powerfull drama depicting relationships in a Slavonian village before the war. Carpenter Kuzma Glavan fells in love with much younger Ana. In spite of grumbling of her parents and agressive assaults of her ex fiance Djuka, Kuzma and Ana marry and get a son. Life gets back to tranquile, plain direction. Kuzma, who is also naive sculptor, gets an order from local priest to make a sculpture of Holy Mother for church. He is modelling it inspired with his wife Ana. Gradually relationships between Croats and Serbs in a village become increasingly tense. Everyday life starts changing, so Kuzma's friend and assistant Rade stops comming to work.
