Short description:
War front is approaching a quarry, somewhere in Poland. Camp inmates are
expecting liberation, but soon they find out that liquidation of
all prisoners awaits. Their only hope is that one of them reaches war
front and asks for help. During mining, prisoner Franz manages to
escape, and his own brother, member of an SS, pursues him along with
a dog. The dog, however, helps the running man, getting him out of
the quicksand in which he found himself. Still, at arm's length to another
bank and freedom, the fugitive is caught up by the bullets of
his brother-hunter.
