Short description:
Witnessing by chance the love act between a poet, Vekovic, and a laundress,
young communist Mica, totally dissapointed with Vekovic's manners,
opposes him joining the Partisans. When proving his loyalty to
Partisan fight, Vekovic gets wounded by the police and arrested. Having
guilty conscience, Mica successfully organizes Vekovic's liberation
from hospital, during which he dies.
