The deserter

Short description:
Two friends, Pavle Trusic and Aleksa Veljacic, Yugoslav Army officers,
once in love with the same woman, now Trusic's wife, meet again during
the civil war - Trusic as a refugee from Vukovar, and Veljacic as
a military judge. Their encounter occurs under dramtic circumstances,
ending with death of Trusic's nine years old daughter, for whom
it is not known whether her father is Aleksa or Trusic. The drama becomes
a new love plot around a daughter of a deserter, and ends with
tragedy.
