Short description:
The story of an Italian Slovenian found in Ljubljana in the first post-war
days. He gets close with three Italian communists, fugitives. The
NSA turns to them to mediate in Trieste in 1948. Three Italians refuse
to do it from political reasons, and the Slovenian accepts firstly
because of his former love affair in Italy. He returns to Ljubljana
with unfinished job, and finds out that his Italian friends were
arrested. He finds shelter with his friend, who involves him in crime
wave. When he gets arrested, he is not accused for criminal offense,
but for his friendship with the Italians and wrong beliefs.
