Short description:
The war arrived in a remote Vojvodinian village. The Germans are leading
a group of hostages through the village, and by the way, they are
mistreating a boy, who sets German wheat on fire on the pier, revenging.
Cunning police officer from the town is leading the investigation.
He imprisons all the men and starts shooting them. A bright village
boy, realizing too early all the horrors of war, helps the Partisans
to free the arrested people, who now enter the movement to the
last man.
