The Republic of Uzice

Short description:
A Spanish fighter, experienced communist, gets to organize the rebellion
in western Serbia. People is gathered around Partisans and soon Bajina
Basta, Pozega, Uzice and Cacak are liberated. The supreme Partisan
headquarters arrive to the liberated territory. In spite of German
attacks, the Republic of Uzice lives. The enemy starts the offensive
against free territory. On Kadinjaca, workers from free territory
factory are resisting heavy attack with their bodies and rifles.
The Germans destroy the whole squad. Evacuating hospital and refugees
from Uzice, the young ones are writing over house walls:"We shall
return"
