The desertions

Short description:
A group of communists, imprisoned in pre-war Yugoslavian dungeon, decides
to escape when the war breaks out, having fears of possible shootings.
Tunnel digging starts, but water endangers the way. The only
solution is to assault the guards. In that feverish atmosphere, old
dilemmas come to surface. One of the prisoners, bothered by betrayal
complex, doesn't want to escape to freedom, thinking he doesn't deserve
to be a revolutionary. And, while others are prepaing to make their
desperate attempt, he, looking for death, discovers that water
is gone from the tunnel. The path to freedom is now open.
