The wolf from Prokletije
Genre: War film
Director: Miomir Stamenkovic
Short description:
The war penetrated the roadless area of Prokletije, which peaks are covered
with eternal mists. The occupier murdered two sons of Vuk, and
he cut two poplar trees down. The youngest son, Dzahid, crosses to
the enemy side and, under his leadership, the fratricidal war is raging:
first victims are his school mates and his first love. Dzahid thus
broke the laws of his homeland, written for centuries. The verdict
is given by his father, who cuts down the last poplar tree in front
of his house at Prokletije slope.
